Certified Doulas
Every member of our ABQ Doulas team is certified, seasoned, caring, and professional. They collaborate closely to ensure you receive the necessary support throughout your pregnancy and childbirth. You’ll select your primary doula but will also benefit from the backup support of our entire team, guaranteeing you have assistance whenever you need it. Our doulas bring a broad range of experience to every type of birthing scenario, including VBAC, teenage, and older mothers, adoption placements, natural and epidural births, water births, home births, IVF, high-risk pregnancies, and more.
Stephanie Garcia
Owner/Director
Stephanie was born and raised in Albuquerque’s North Valley, where community, culture, and family shaped her deep commitment to supporting birthing families. She is passionate about sharing her knowledge of pregnancy and the birthing process with the women she meets, offering guidance that is both grounded and compassionate.
A certified lactation consultant, certified placenta specialist, and trained provider in birthing with essential oils, Stephanie brings a holistic, evidence‑informed approach to every family she serves. As the director of ABQ Doulas, she is dedicated to helping families find the perfect doula match — someone who honors their values, their vision, and their unique path to parenthood. Stephanie also serves at Care Net as the lactation specialist and birth educator, offering families evidence‑informed guidance with a deeply personal touch.
Married for over 27 years and the proud mom of three young adults, Stephanie understands firsthand the beauty and complexity of growing a family. When she’s not supporting parents, you can often find her in her happiest place — Disneyland — which she has visited more than 30 times.
Rooted in experience, guided by intuition, and fueled by joy, Stephanie is honored to walk alongside families as they welcome new life into the world.

Labor Doula
Tori is a native New Mexican, born and raised in Albuquerque. She is the proud mom of 4 adult children and lives with her husband and their 3 dogs. With over 8 years of experience as a labor doula, Tori has supported families through a wide range of birth experiences, from home to hospital births.
She is a certified childbirth educator and trained in Spinning Babies techniques. Tori is deeply committed to continual learning and is always expanding her knowledge of labor and birth to better support her clients with skills, confidence, and compassion.
Tori believes that knowledge is power in birth, and that discovering what works best for you-while feeling confident in your birth space and decisions-is essential to feeling supported and validated during labor. She brings calm, grounded, and reassuring presence to the families she serves. Tori is honored to walk alongside families as they welcome new life, offering kindness, experience, and evidence-based support at every birth.
Bonnie Aragon

Bonnie specializes in meeting families exactly where they are. Whether she is navigating the complexities of a high‑risk hospital birth or supporting the peaceful flow of a low‑intervention home birth, she brings steadiness, knowledge, and deep respect for each family’s unique journey.
As a mama to three girls and married to her best friend, Bonnie understands the rhythms, joys, and challenges of family life. She fills her days with the simple pleasures of raising kids, caring for her dogs and chickens, and embracing the fullness of a home that’s always in motion.
With warmth, adaptability, and a heart for service, Bonnie walks alongside families with confidence and compassion, ensuring they feel supported no matter where or how they choose to welcome their baby.
